Egypt is a major flax grower, and cold-pressing the seed close to harvest gives an oil with a clean, nutty flavour and a high omega-3 (ALA) content. The oil is sensitive to heat and light, so it is pressed cold, filtered and packed in opaque or nitrogen-flushed containers.
We supply bulk and retail formats for food, nutraceutical and cosmetic buyers. Peroxide value and fatty-acid profile are quoted per lot. Because flaxseed oil oxidises quickly, we recommend cool, dark storage and a short shelf life rather than a long ambient one.
