Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Cantaloupe is a summer crop in Egypt, and freezing lets buyers carry the fruit into the winter menu. The melon is peeled, seeded and cut into cubes or balls, then IQF-frozen. Because melon is mostly water, the freezing line has to be fast to avoid large ice crystals and a mushy thaw.
We grade by cube size and check brix before processing. The product is packed in 10 kg cartons for food service and retail bags for smoothie packs. It is best used in blended or frozen applications rather than as a fresh-cut substitute.
