Product details
Molokhia (jute mallow) is the leaf behind Egypt's national soup. It is picked young, washed and chopped, then frozen individually so the pieces stay loose. Freezing preserves the deep green colour and the slightly viscous texture that thickens the broth.
We supply chopped or whole leaves, with stems removed. The main quality markers are colour, fineness of chop and the absence of yellowed leaves. Retail packs and 10 kg bulk cartons are both available, and the product is a strong seller in Gulf and European ethnic markets.
