Egyptian yellow onions with tight, copper-coloured skin and the curing discipline that keeps them firm at destination.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Yellow onions are Egypt's highest-volume vegetable export for a reason: the dry Delta climate produces bulbs with thin necks and tight skins that travel well. Giza 6 and Giza 20 are the standard varieties — globe shaped, firm, with a pungent flavour that holds through cooking.
We cure for 10–14 days in ventilated stores before topping and grading. That curing step is what separates onions that arrive sound from onions that arrive with neck rot, and it is not something a buyer can check at loading. Mesh bags are packed loosely to keep air moving; cartons are used for retail programmes that need a cleaner presentation.
