Egyptian okra with small, tender pods and a clean cut end — the details that decide whether it holds together in a stew.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Okra is one of Egypt's signature frozen vegetables. The pods are picked young, when they are 8–10 cm and still tender, then washed, topped and frozen individually. Small pods are the premium grade; larger pods are firmer and better suited to industrial use.
We screen for discoloured pods, insect damage and oversize fruit, and we freeze within hours of harvest to protect the texture. The product is packed in 10 kg bulk cartons or retail bags, and every lot is metal-detected before dispatch.
