Egyptian Navel oranges with the sugar-acid balance and seedless ease that European retail programmes expect.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Navel is the backbone of Egypt's citrus export. The fruit is seedless, easy to peel and picks up high sugar in the warm Delta and Nubaria orchards, typically 11–13° Brix with a balanced acid level. The thick rind travels well, which is why Navels dominate shipments to Europe from November through March.
We grade by count per 15 kg carton, from 48s for premium retail to 113s for juice and food service. Fruit is washed, waxed where the buyer requests it, and packed in ventilated cartons. We test brix and acid per lot rather than per season, because a warm autumn can move the numbers quickly and a buyer should know what is in the box before it sails.
Varieties
