Egyptian pumpkin with the dense, sweet flesh that holds up in soups, roasting and frozen processing.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Egyptian pumpkin is grown for flesh quality, not just size. The fruit is medium, with deep orange, dense flesh and a relatively small seed cavity, which gives a high recovery for processors. It is available through the summer and early autumn.
We supply whole fruit in bins or cartons, and can arrange peeled, diced or purée processing through partner facilities for volume buyers. Whole pumpkins are graded by weight and checked for stem condition and rind damage, because a broken stem is the entry point for rot in transit.
Varieties
Dense orange flesh, Egyptian type.
