Egyptian grapefruit with good size, thin rind and the colour that retail buyers look for in winter citrus.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Egyptian grapefruit is a winter crop with a thin rind and a clean, bitter-sweet flavour. The fruit sizes well, which matters because grapefruit is sold by count and a mixed-calibre carton reads as poor grading on the shelf.
We supply 40/48 and 48/56 counts, packed in 15 kg cartons. Pink and red-fleshed selections are available, and colour is best in the middle of the season. The main handling risk is rind pitting from cold storage, so we keep fruit at 10–12 °C and avoid extended holding before loading.
Varieties
Pink-red flesh, sweet-tart.
Deep red flesh, few seeds.
