Egyptian pomegranates with the colour and aril quality that premium retail programmes ask for in autumn.
Quotations are issued against your target volume, packaging specification and destination port. Minimum order quantities and loading programmes are confirmed per shipment.
Product details
Pomegranates are one of Egypt's strongest autumn lines. Wonderful is the dominant export variety: large, deep red fruit with firm arils, good acidity and a skin that holds up in transit. The crop comes from the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt, and the best colour develops in the cooler nights of late summer.
We grade by count per 4 kg carton and hand-check for splits and sunburn, which are the two defects that ruin a retail display. Fruit is packed in single-layer cartons with liners. For longer sea voyages we ship slightly less ripe, and we tell the buyer the harvest date so they can plan ripening at destination.
Varieties
Deep red arils, sweet-tart.
Large fruit, soft seeds.
