Product details
Watermelon is a high-water fruit, so it is processed for juice, smoothies and frozen drinks rather than for a fresh-cut thaw. Egyptian melons are seeded, peeled and cubed, then IQF-frozen quickly to protect colour.
We grade by cube size and check for seeds and rind. The product is packed in 10 kg cartons for industrial use. Because the texture softens on thaw, buyers should plan it for blending rather than for a fruit salad.
